The Motto
This is the motto of Shivam Vidya Mandir High
School and Junior College, which has been inscribed clearly on its emblem. The logo also contains a lotus and
a book inside a circle, which symbolizes industry, which is the backbone of the economic development of our
county. The lotus is the national flower of India. The goddess Saraswati is often depicted as a beautiful
woman dressed in pure white often seated on a white lotus, which symbolizes that she is founded in the
experience of the Absolute Truth. Thus, she not only has the knowledge but also the experience of the Highest
Reality. Books are the storehouse of information, knowledge and wisdom. They contain the thoughts and
emotions, may, the very soul of the masterminds of all ages. In the words of John Milton, “A good book is the
precious life-blood of the master spirit, embalmed and treasured up on purpose for a life
beyond.” Thus it deepens our understanding of life and makes us familiar with a variety of human
experiences. Our respected Principal & founder Shri. Ramashankar Babulal Shrivastav has worked
ceaselessly on this mission and has created an enviable record in the domain of education in the town of
Andheri.
